Poor Tonks....
All I have to say is poor Tonks.... but then again, she is the one dumb enough to have chosen Trevor as her favorite.

Our Awesome weekend
Just wanted to share with you all some of the wonderful weekend we had celebrating our Anniversary.
Our awesome amazing wonderful friends the McConkies watched the kids for us (Aleisha even made us cookies).... thanks a million you guys.
We had a scrumptious steak & pasta dinner, a relaxing night, yummy breakfast, shopping, & went to a movie. Our picnic & mini golf was called on a count of rain but we still had a blast.

He tore ligaments in his left ring finger a few years ago playing basketball so his original one won't fit & it can't be sized due to the type of ring.
I was tired of him wearing his CTR ring as a wedding ring. He totally digs this new titanium one... plus it came in this yummy box.
Such pretty roses, I love that he knows me well enough & remembers I love the bright colorful roses & not just the red ones.
Rick's man present:
a Taurus .40 S&W
The Mayan Rain Forest suite at the Black Swan Inn here in Pocatello.... so fun.King-sized bed with 52" flat screen TV across from it, waterfall with fish pond, 2nd story loft w/ jacuzzi tub & TV, oh yeah.... and a shower inside a tree trunk.
Wicked cool.

First day(s) of Preschool
Well, the kids both had their first day of Preschool this week.
Trevor's first day was Wednesday, he will be going 8-12 Tues- Fri. We were worried that it would be too much for him but he loves it & has already gone through both changes of clothes we brought for him (milk, paint, & water). Mom & Olivia got to take him for his first day & I didn't even cry! (now I'm wondering if I should feel any guilt over that?) Olivia did have to run back into the classroom to give him one more hug though.
Olivia started on Tuesday, she will be going from 10-12 on Tues & Thurs. Mom had a clinical out of town all day so she ended up missing all of it, *sniff*. Her best pal Kaitlyn is also in her class & she loves going to school like everyone else in the family.

Ugh, school!
I'm really not liking school right now... ugh, really not liking it. It's not necessarily my classes or anything, ok, maybe one class.... and one clinical site.... I seem to have lost my motivation somewhere. Besides, who wants to be a nurse when I could be this instead:

Right???
I'm currently ignoring about 4 (ok, yeah you're right... it's more like 6) hours of homework.
Maybe I should wash the dishes instead....
At least the floor is clean, I had the pleasure of mopping it at about 7:30 this morning, the kids got up before me & had already started "helping".

Canned peaches, etc.
Today was the day for canning peaches.

We rocked the peach canning world.
We canned 52 quarts (2.5 bushels = 5 cases)
in just over 4 hours!
Big thanks to Rick & Rich for manning all the kids for the day.
Ok, obviously this last picture isn't of peaches but I was so proud of our little garden.
Turns out the pear tomatoes are the least retarded of all our tomato plants, they eventually know how to turn ripe.

Rainbow jell-o
Cool huh? That must've taken a ton of time.
Needless to say it was a huge hit, and not just among the kids.
