Olivia's Birthday hootenanny:

(it's a sandy beach....use your imagination ok? At least it tasted yummy.)
Sebastian & Ariel's seashells went AWOL, had to improvise with frosting.

Our little pixie, isn't she beautiful?
Wearing Ariel & playing with Ariel (today) ...on her actual B-day.
This card is from Grandma & Papa Davis....it sings a princess song. She's been listening to it ALL DAY. Right here she's singing along... I tell her "You're awesome Olivia." Her response?
"Thanks."

B-day BBQ bash yesterday:

These two just crack me up, they were just standing there screaming as the kids all played.
Uncle Tanner & Aunt Kenz chillin' with Aiden.
Wonderful Uncle Tanner apparently took Livvy for ColdStone 1 hr before her party...so he got to be the one to make sure she ate her hot dog. (eye roll)
Whole lotta Davis cousins & a whole lotta fun!
Olivia picked out a tutu just like this (except pink, of course) to send to Brynnah in the hospital...& in the process totally securing one for herself for her birthday. We sure love you, Sweetheart.
"Rosetta" the red-haired pixie from the Tinkerbell movie...thanks Davis-cousins.
Ariel!!!! (thank you Uncle Tanner & Aunt MacKenzie...eeek!)
Really Tanner?!? What WERE you thinking?
Our kids all LOVE pickles... Grandma Davis thinks it's hilarious. Olivia was totally stoaked to have very her own jar. :)
"Yeah...time for cake!!!"
Brandon wanted to make sure the Stowe-cousin present got fair representation.
...the singing card.

Patrick! (he said he was just practicing for Aiden's B-day in a few weeks....uh-huh)
Our little Sweetheart. Happy Birthday, baby girl.

Olivia turns 5 (looking back)

5 years ago today....

Can someone tell me how in the world it's really been five years?

Salt Lake trip

So we took a trip this past weekend to Salt Lake City to visit the Caywoods (Brynnah is in the hospital again at Primary Children's). While we were there we were able to stay with our friends, the Arnells, & were able to meet up with Tanner & MacKenzie at the Hogle zoo for an afternoon. Fun times.
Brynnah is slowly improving, it was great to be able to see them & their family is still in our prayers, we love you guys!

(don't they both look as if they're in pain? lol....awww.)

Livvy suckered Uncle Tanner into buying them ice cream. :)

The Davis' go to the (old) State Penn

This last weekend Rick took us all on a tour of the old Idaho State Penn here in Boise, he takes his inmate crews there at least once a week to do service. Pretty cool stuff.

Main building where booking, control, & the armory were.

Pretty cool architecture.

The building straight ahead was the old mess hall, it was one of the 2 buildings that got burned down in the last riot of 1973.

Solitary.

Facing the rear of the main buliding. There are 3 paths. The guard used the center one, the one on the left was for "good" prisoners, the right path was for "bad" ones. You had to stop at the crossroads to be cleared to use either path. If you stepped past the line you got one warning, after that you were shot by the guards up on the walls.

Inside one of the main cell blocks for males.

I think there were 4 levels in this building.

Rick was a great tour guide, he knew all the cool stuff.

Chuck told Anne that she could go as cheap as she liked on his casket as long as it was pulled by this hearse.

The females finally got their own separate building after a few "questionable" pregnancies....
