Road trip to Poky

Erin & the kids did a few-day road trip to Pocatello this past week. Rick had to stay home because of work, so he missed out. As usual the kids had a blast seeing the Caywoods & hanging out with Brynnah. Aiden has taken quite an interest in the Lady Gwyn & just couldn't get enough of her, it was too cute.
Also as usual, Olivia was utterly traumatized when she had to say goodbye.

Brynnah has taken to calling our kids "her cousins"....so sweet.

Aiden just crawled right up with his bottle & grabbed hold of Gwyn's hand. He kept putting it on his face & rubbing it.

Olivia on the phone with Ryan, trying to talk her down from her emotional ledge on the car ride home. She was just sobbing, she is so in love with them.

Homemade Kit Kat bars

2 sticks margarine
1 C brown sugar
1/3 C sugar
1/2 C milk
2 C crushed graham crackers
1/2 C semi sweet choc chips
1/2 C butterscotch chips
2/3 C peanut butter
1 box club crackers

*Boil margarine, white & brown sugar, milk & grahams for 5 minutes. Stir often.
*Pour thin layer into greased 9x13" pan. Top w/ a layer of club crackers. Repeat alternating layers until boiled mixture is gone. (usually 2 thick layers w/ 3 crackers, but you can do more)
*After final layer of boiled mixture is topped with crackers set aside.
*Melt choc chips, butterscotch chips, & peanut butter together. Spread on top of crackers & boiled mixture in pan.
*Chill for 3 hours to set. Store in cool place or they will get soft.

Christmas 2010

We had a quiet Christmas this year, Rick ended up being sick & in bed all day (poor guy). So we just stayed home in our jammies & hung out all day.

All the girl Davis cousins got matching dolls that look like them, in this case Olivia's had the same colored-hair as she did when she was born.

Aiden has been totally into Sponge Bob lately (ugh, thanks Rick). His favorite things were his SB mac n' cheese from his stocking & his new jammies from Grandma & Papa Davis.

This is as far as Rick would come downstairs when his family stopped by, he quarantined himself upstairs all day.

I got an Eclipse calander! EEEEK!!!

Uncle Tanner came by to visit over Christmas! We sure do love that guy.

Since Rick was sick on we postponed Christmas dinner for a few days....yum!

Santa got a little way-layed while delivering Erin's gifts....lucky for me they showed up on Christmas dinner day.
