Rick's LDR graduation
As many of you know, Rick was chosen for a promotion at work with the Ada County Sherriff's Office. For the past 7 weeks he has been going through their LDR "Leader" training program to prep his group for POST (officer's training) that starts for him this Sunday. That entails another 5 weeks of academy training before he can start orienting on his shifts to work in the jail.
His graduation from LDR was this past Thursday the 14th and Erin got to pin his new badge on him. We are very proud of him for all his hard work & dedication. Over the past 7 weeks he's dealt with very early mornings, injuries, 4 mile runs with the Major followed by wind sprints across the mall parking lot, LOTS of classes, firearms qualifications, & more injuries....and he's come through it like a champ. Good luck over the next 5 weeks sweetie, we love you!

Olivia's PuMpKiN PaTcH!
Olivia has her very first field trip with her Kindergarten class on Wednesday to the Farmstead Pumpkin Patch/Corn Maze...totally awesome! We went last year with Trevor's class & it was a blast. We're going to have to go back as a family one night & enjoy some of the yummy dutch oven food & funnel cakes.

Erin's new job!
As many of you may know, Erin accepted a new job. Woohoo! We're all happy & she's totally stoaked. She begins training the RN taking her place tomorrow & will start at St. Luke's Medical Center, Meridian on October 25th. She will be working day shift in the Medical/Surgical Unit, doing three 12 hour shifts a week....translation = WAY more time home with the kids!

Mr. Picky
As the months go on Aiden continues to be super-picky. Although he's finally back on the growth chart we're still having to add cream to his bottles to help him gain weight. In addition to being picky about his food & trying new food (pretty much refuses) he is a lot like his sister was in the fact that he wants to feed himself & won't take a bite from someone else. All this makes it a little tricky to get the guy to eat but luckily there's some stuff he loves.

Chillin' while watching Conference
Last weekend was General Conference so instead of going to church we got to stay home & watch it broadcast on TV. It was great to just have a nice relaxing weekend in as a family.

Welcome home Lady Gwyneth!
The little lady Gwyneth Anne Caywood was born Wednesday September 29th at 10:57 am. She tipped the scales at 7 lbs. 5 oz & was 19.5 inches long. Not too shabby for almost 3 weeks early.
Jacqui & Gwyn are both doing great & were able to go home from the hospital yesterday. We are so grateful to our Father in Heaven for ensuring the safe delivery of this sweet little girl and her mommy. We love them both very much & are so excited for the Caywoods to be able to welcome another beautiful daughter into their family.

Kitty Lupin update
It's been 4 weeks since Lupin's leg got broken, we take him back in today for an x-ray & see if he can go without his cast or if it needs to be re-wrapped for another 2 weeks.
Let's hope for Trevor's piggy bank's sake that he won't need any more visits. Plus, this poor cat keeps forgetting about the cast & runs & jumps around like a total spaz.
