Nothing beats the joy of kids in a pile of crunchy leaves...

Trevorigami

I love that Trevor made this all on his own, without any direction or reason to other than he was bored & his amazing mind can just see things & create them out of nothing.

Quick flashback to February...

Trevor made me this napkin holder at one of his very first Cub Scout activities after he turned 8. He has so much fun in Scouts & can't wait to go.

This is where Aiden chills most of the time when I'm in the shower & the kids are at school. Keeps him out of too much trouble...mostly.

Trevor's Baptism Day

Trevor turned 8 last month, so he was baptized yesterday by his dad. All of his cousins & family were there and he was so beyond excited. It was a wonderful & spiritual day. We love you so much Trevor & are so proud of you!

Tons of snow today! By the time we finally got home & ready to play in it poor Aiden crashed on the couch & missed out.

Trevor's 8th bday...times two

Trevor got two birthday parties this year, a small family one on his actual b-day and then his official party complete with the requested Transformers mo-jo the next day. Lucky boy.

Trev's Ag Expo Field Trip

On Tuesday I went with Trevor's class to the local FFA Ag Expo. It was raining a little bit but the kids still had a great time learning about all the local agriculture & of course.....the animals & big equipment!

These chicks were only 2 days old, Trevor was so bummed by the fact that he didn't get to hold one.

I was so totally smitten by these little guys!

Not bad for coming straight off my 5th 12 hour night shift, so glad I stayed up for it...we had such a blast!

Sleepy kiddos

They've been running crazy, especially since school started back up again. I love it when they just crash like this:

Indian Summer

Here in Boise we've been enjoying a bit of a late Indian Summer, the kids have been loving it with extra walks to the park after dinner, jumping on the tramp, climbing trees, & making good use of our fire pit with s'mores & banana boats.

As much as I love the fall I've been enjoying our late summer this year and that my pretty flowers are still keeping me company on my front porch.
