You know how you're always wishing for more time, another day in the week? Well, I got my wish. My boss gave me Friday off so we've spent the last 2 days doing all sorts of fun silly things with our kids & just relaxing. We went to Cabelas & watched them feed the bass, we went to eat @ this great old drive in with like 30 flavors of shakes, & then yesterday.....
We went to the beach yesterday with Chuck & Anne's family, we all had such a blast. After wearing ourselves out we replenished our strength with frozen-custard "muds" (shakes) at the famous Donnie Mac's, it was featured on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives". Then it was back to their house for more swimming, pizza, & a movie.

It was pretty chilly water but the kids (& Rick) still loved it.
Yummy!Rick actually found an "authentic" spring poking out of the couch into his kidney, Chuck said it was all part of the ambiance.

i went there years ago and loved it. i dont know why we haven't been back, it was such a fun place :)
